:I still don't see why you go to bat for the dude. Simple. He's a friend. Whether he screwed up or not, he's still my friend. When i needed him, he was there for me.
Yes, he messed up on the biz side with a lot of TT.net folks, i don't disagree on that. I go with what is right BY ME, not the forum as far as personal stuff goes.
Would i buy stuff from him, probably not but that doesn't make him estranged to me. He's still my friend until the day i consider him otherwise.
As for Zcon, sure he was drinking. So were many others.
Are they all drunks? I've seen Seedy with a beer tons of times. Does that also make him a drunk? Hell no.
People party, that's the nature of people at Zcon or any other social gathering.
Point is it's easy to shoot at steve with all these BS lies and rumors about his personality. You wanna rag on his biz practices, sure. Fire away. But not on him as a person as often times, the way we do business is not how we are in person.
I know a whole bunch of business sharks who are ruthless in making $$ but are the nicest of people outside that arena.
